Model: Which model Henselite Bowl should I choose?

Each model has a different ‘bias’ which is the line it takes on the green, from the bowler’s hand to the jack.

Grip: What size are non-gripped bowls available in?

Henselite now manufactures lawn bowls with no grip in all sizes. Non-gripped bowls are made in all colours as standard but you can order a set of Henselite Custom Bowls with no grip in sizes 00-5. These will be made to order for you.

Size: What is the difference in each bowl size?

As you go up in each Henselite bowl size, the diameter of the bowl increases by only one and a half millimetres and the weight by approx. 60 grams. Click here for more information on selecting a size for your bowl.

Engraving: Can I buy bowls without an engraving?

No. World Bowls governing body rules require that the bowls must leave the factory/distributor engraved with the same engraving on both sides of each bowl in the set. The engravings must be visible at 1.5 metres.

Engraving: What is a Personal Engraving?

If you’d like a really unique set of bowls, you can add your own image as the engraving in the centre of your bowl.

Upload your image file (eg: .jpeg, .pdf or .png) and we will turn it into an engraving and send you a proof before we apply it to you bowls.

We are unable to create personal engravings from trademarked images without the written permission of the trademark owner. If you are not sure if an image is trademarked, please email us at sales@henselite.com.au with your image before placing your order.

Please note: Because engravings on a bowl are made from a line drawing, not all images will be able to translate into an engraving. If required, our staff will contact you as adjustments may be needed to the image or final engraving.

Personal engravings incur an additional charge and may take 2-3 weeks more to produce, than using one of the Henselite standard engravings.

Warranty: Do my custom bowls come with a warranty?

Your bowls are guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase; against breaking, cracking and defects or faulty workmanship. Gain the satisfaction of knowing that the Henselite Quality Guarantee Registration will protect you and ensure your new bowls will perform as intended.

Please note that the Henselite 10 Year Quality Guarantee Registration does not cover chipping caused through normal wear and tear, colour fading from exposure to the elements, or scratching caused by use on sand filled grass or synthetic greens or burnishing/pitting caused by impact of bowls in the presence of sand, fertiliser and moisture. We do not guarantee the displacement of speckled colour or the accuracy of blend between different coloured materials in each mould.

The Henselite 10 Year Quality Guarantee Registration is valid in the country of purchase only.

Colours may vary on the computer screen and should not be compared with actual product; note there may be slight variations in speckles and colours between bowls. This is not considered a defect.

Manufacturing: Where are Henselite bowls made?

Henselite is an Australian owned company and all our lawn bowls are manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. We have been manufacturing bowls here for over a century. We are proud to be part of the Australian Made campaign which recognises Australian products that have been locally manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Ordering: Do you I have to order online?

We can only accept orders for custom bowls that are placed online.

We accept orders online 24 hours-a-day, seven (7) days a week.

Delivery: Do you deliver to my country?

Currently, we accept Henselite custom bowl orders from Australia only. We plan to offer custom bowls as an option to other countries and regions in future.

Delivery: How long does it take to make and deliver my custom set of bowls?

From the time you place your order, your bowls will usually be ready for delivery within Australia usually after 8 to 10 weeks. At busy times this may vary.

Custom bowls orders are shipped by Direct Freight Express or Australia Post.

Bowls must be shipped to a physical address, not a PO Box.

Shipping: How much does it cost to ship my custom set of bowls?

Current shipping charges for Henselite Custom Bowls can be viewed by proceeding to the checkout.

Returns: What is the Returns Policy on Custom Bowls?

At Henselite, we create bowls that help you perform better; play better and feel good. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you choose an engraving from our catalogue, you may return unused custom bowls back to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund to the original form of payment.

Bowls made with personal engravings or outerfield engravings may not be returned due to change of mind.

Returns without the original invoice must reference the invoice number, which you received in your delivery.

Returns by Mail
All custom bowl orders must be returned with the original paperwork at the buyer’s expense. On the documentation, please indicate the reason for returning: ie. a gift, wrong item shipped, wrong colour, etc.

Pack and seal your return securely (in the original package if possible) and include all original paperwork.

If you would like a replacement set with any new variations this must be placed online as a brand new order.

Refunds and Credits
All returns will be refunded to the original form of payment that was used for your purchase. Please allow 14 days for us to process the credit. During peak times, processing may take longer than normal. It may take up to two (2) or three (3) billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

Cancellations or changes to the order
We begin processing your order immediately upon receipt. For this reason we will not be able to cancel or change your order once you have submitted it to us. With any product that you want to return, Henselite reserves the right to assess the condition of all returned goods. This may result in the goods NOT being accepted for Return, Repair, Refund, Credit Note or Exchange.

Henselite will calculate and refund return postage, in the event the returned product(s) is faulty, not fit for the intended purpose or does not fit the description.
