There is a new family at the helm of Henselite.
We are delighted to introduce the new owners of Henselite (Australia) Pty Ltd, Ian and Thomas Paterson.
With a background in business management and manufacturing, Ian will take on the role of company Chairman. “My father was a committed bowler and a club President, who was down at the bowls club most nights and every weekend. I took up the sport in my 20s to spend time with him and fell in love with the game. I bowled until moving from Cobram to Melbourne with my young family for business. When I saw last year that the iconic Australian lawn bowls company, Henselite, was up for sale, I knew I had to buy it.”
Ian’s son, Thomas, will be the Henselite Managing Director, taking charge of the day-to-day operations. “Dad and I have worked together in family businesses for the last 20 years and we’re both really looking forward to building on the proud 100 year history of this Australian family company and taking it forward.”
