Why do you use this bowl?

I’ve chosen the Dreamline XG for the arc of the bowl and its reliability.

How and when did you start bowling?

I started when I was 11 years old at Shoalhaven Heads BC. I used to ride my bike down to watch dad play and nagged him to give me a go.

Career goals

To continue to play at the top of my game.

  • Member of the Australian Bowls Squad for 22 consecutive years
  • Represented Australia at the 1998 | 2002 | 2006 | 2014 | 2018 Commonwealth Games, achieving 1 Gold and 3 Silver medals across the Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours disciplines at four Games
  • Represented Australia at the 2004 | 2008 | 2012 | 2016 World Championships, achieving 4 Gold medals and 2 Bronze medals across the Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours disciplines at all 4 championships
  • Represented Australia at the 2005 | 2007 | 2009 | 2011 | 2015 Asia Pacific Championships, achieving 5 Gold medals including the Overall Women’s Team championship, 2 Silver medals and 2 Bronze medals across all 5 championships
  • Represented Australia at the 2019 Multi-Nations achieving the Overall Women’s Title and Team Championship, and Gold medals in the Pairs and Fours
  • Represented Australia at the 2017 Gold Coast Multi-Nations, achieving 2 Gold medals in the Singles and Pairs disciplines
  • Represented Australia at the 2016 Six Nations International, achieving 1 Gold (Pairs) and 1 Silver (Singles) medal
  • 2015 Hong Kong International Silver Medallist (Pairs)
  • 2013 World Champion of Champions Gold Medallist (Singles)

Which other bowlers do you enjoy playing with or against?

I enjoy playing with my team mates at Cabramatta. I have had a long standing rivalry on green with Jo Edwards over the years, always a challenge playing Jo, I do enjoy the challenge.

What would you be doing if you weren’t bowling?

I recently commenced a role as the National Assistant Coach.

Who do you most admire?

I love watching Alex Marshall, a great player on all surfaces.
